November 2026 bank holidays: Diwali, Chhath Puja; check city-wise list of holidays

In the month of November, bank branches across the country would remain closed on different occasions. National holidays, regional festivities, and other state-specific events would mark the calendar in the month of November.

As per the calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain shut for 17 days, including weekends, across the country, though the number varies by city in November.

Some of these holidays would be observed throughout the country. However, not every event marked in the calendar would be a nationwide holiday. Some events would be observed only in certain regions or states, and the holiday would be applicable to bank branches in those regions.
