The Delhi Police  received an email threatening to blow up the Delhi Assembly and the Red Fort. The message was allegedly sent in the name of a Khalistani group.

A massive search operation was launched at the Delhi Assembly complex following the email. Bomb disposal squads and multiple security units carried out an intensive sweep of the premises. However, no suspicious object was found.

The police said although nothing dangerous was recovered during the search, all necessary precautionary measures are being maintained. The threatening email is currently under investigation, with efforts underway to trace its origin and identify the sender. The cyber cell has also joined the probe, and authorities have stated that the situation is being closely monitored.

Earlier in the day, two schools in Delhi also received bomb threath emails leading to the immediate evacuation of students and staff. A detailed search of the campus was conducted, but officials later confirmed that no suspicious items were discovered.

According to an officer from the Delhi Fire Service, information about the threat was received at around 8:50 am. Following this, teams from the fire department, Bomb Detection Team (BDT), Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), and a dog squad rushed to the scene and carried out thorough checks.
