Double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu has officially qualified for the prestigious season-ending BWF World Tour Finals in Hangzhou, China, marking her return to the marquee tournament stage for the first time in nearly five years.
Sindhu booked her spot among the top eight shuttlers following a standout resurgence on the tour. Her qualification was cemented by a title run at the Hylo Open Super 500 in Saarbrücken, Germany, where she picked up 9,200 ranking points. The triumph propelled her up two places to sixth in the latest BWF World Rankings.
This marks Sindhu’s first multi-title season on the BWF circuit since 2022. Alongside her Hylo Open victory, she lifted the Japan Open Super 750 crown in July and finished as the runner-up at the French Open against world No. 1 An Se-young.
