Former India cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has approached Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka for a potential spin-bowling coach’s role at the franchise. Taking to X, Sivaramakrishnan expressed confidence in his abilities and promised Goenka that he would “deliver the results”. For the unversed, former English first-class cricketer Carl Crowe is currently the spin-bowling coach of LSG, having joined the franchise ahead of IPL 2026 after leaving Kolkata Knight Riders.

“@DrSanjivGoenka I am Laxman Sivaramakrishnan former Indian cricketer. If you are looking for a spin bowling coach, please let me know. I have confidence that I can deliver the results,” Sivaramakrishnan posted on X.

Sivaramakrishnan added that spinners would become match-winners under his guidance.

“I want to show spinners can be match winners in T20s,” he added.

Meanwhile, LSG made an interesting move during the ongoing IPL trade window by acquiring India spinner Kuldeep Yadav from Delhi Capitals. In return, LSG released captain Rishabh Pant, who has rejoined DC for IPL 2027.

Pant has joined DC for Rs 15 crore, while LSG will pay Kuldeep Rs 13.5 crore following his trade.

Kuldeep heads to LSG after a highly successful spell with Delhi Capitals lasting five seasons.

The left-arm wrist spinner claimed 72 wickets in 65 matches for DC and established himself as one of the most effective wicket-taking bowlers in the tournament.

Pant, on the other hand, was acquired by LSG for a record-breaking Rs 27 crore – the highest winning bid in IPL history.
