Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha  directed security forces to continue operations against the remnants of the terrorist ecosystem, aggressively target and dismantle networks that misguide and radicalise people, and choke off logistical and financial support for terrorists.

Chairing a Unified Headquarters (UHQ) meeting at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar, Sinha reviewed the overall security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that a foolproof counterstrategy is essential to disrupt infiltration and that real-time collaboration among agencies remains vital to achieving security objectives.

Sinha said, “Operations must continue to neutralise the remnants of the terrorist ecosystem. We should aggressively target and dismantle the networks trying to misguide and radicalise the people.” He also called for stepped-up measures to counter infiltration and completely cut off logistical and financial support to terrorists.

Sinha directed the security forces and J&K Police to build public trust by ensuring people’s voices are heard and their grievances resolved. He reviewed the operational preparedness of police and security agencies for the winter months and underlined the need for sustained vigilance against emerging threats.

The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the Army, CAPFs, J&K Police, and intelligence agencies for the peaceful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.

The meeting held at Lok Bhawan was attended by GOC-in-C Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, GOC Chinar Corps Lt Gen Balbir Singh, GOC White Knight Corps Lt Gen Mohit Seth, and senior officers of the Armed Forces, CAPFs, J&K Police, intelligence agencies, and the civil administration.
